The BELLSOUTH 100® Incubator and Turner are manufactured in Australia using Australian labour and materials. All the mold tooling used in the manufacture of our incubator and turner is made in Australia, and the development of the BELLSOUTH 100® is based solely in Australia. Only the drive motor and some electrical components are imported. Made from a comparatively inexpensive high-density polystyrene casing, the Bellsouth 100 provides a cost effective method of incubating eggs that allows for budget limitations without compromising results.
The simple yet sophisticated electronic thermostat which is effectively the heart of the system allows accurate setting of the incubation temperature. These thermostats now comply with the new C Tick emmission standards. The temperature will not drift with atmospheric pressure like bellows thermostats. The sensing probe measures the temperature at the height of the eggs, ensuring that the correct temperature is easily obtained and constant once set.

Now the Bellsouth 100 has the choice of manual turn with capacity of 100 average chicken eggs, semi auto turn capacity of 48 average chicken eggs just push and pull the lever, or fully automatic with capacity of 48 average chicken eggs and egg turning by motor drive.

Semi Automatic turning means the eggs can be turned more often with just a few seconds. This option is ideal for those who want the convenience of a single action to turn the eggs but without the expense of the Swiss motor drive. The incubator remains closed, reducing the disruption to the eggs caused by opening the incubator too often when the room temperatures are low.
This option has often been requested, and has been made more desirable with the recent price rises in the Swiss motor gearboxes.

Automatic turning means the eggs are turned more often than the usual twice a day with manually turned eggs. The automatic turner turns the eggs very slowly accomplishing a 180 degree roll every 1.5 hours. This means the chick is able to use the nutrients in the eggs more efficiently. As a result, eggs where the nutrient levels are poor due to dietary problems will produce better hatches than with manual turning. Also, the incubator remains closed, reducing the disruption to the eggs caused by opening the incubator too often when the room temperatures are low.

The BELLSOUTH 100® auto-turner is fully adjustable to accommodate any species from quail to goose, with goose requiring an extra manual turn every 3 days. The turner spacings are adjustable and also the stroke is adjustable to vary how much turn is given to each egg, according to species. Just one tray does it all, no extras to buy. Simply take out the wire floor in the incubator, and pop in the turner tray.
