 HAND BOUND RESTORED EDITION  |    by Pearson and Warren This work is an early reference work of 1897 It is important as a reference work for the early research into the diseases of poultry and has an excellent reference still on parasites of poultry.Loenard Pearson authored this section of 116 pages. The second section of over 100 chromolithographs and total 743 pages is a delightful study in the American Wildlife which were regarded as the enemies of poultry. The pictures are themselves now collectible as artwork. The plates sell for 5-15.00 each making the collection worth a large amount just for the pictures. However I have undertaked to restore the work as a whole to avoid the loss of the information. The only departure from the original style was to make the boards thicker so that the rear board could have a pocket inserted to hold the chart of Tape Worms, rather than the poorly selected original location in the center of the book.The chart is fragile and some folds damaged, but attempting to open the chart in the book resulted in more cracking of the folds.
