These Rollaway Nests are a new system which uses no litter in the nest. The specially shaped moulded plastic bowls encourage nesting behaviour. The bird enters the nest and proceeds to scratch out a nestplace. The moulded mesh floor in the bowl cleans the birds feet, and the body warmth quickly heats the plastic of the bowl to ensure it remains dry and comfortable. The nests contain no loose parts to catch on the birds feet. The eggs are laid and immediately roll away from the bird and under the egg cover. Clean, easy to maintain, with eggs safely away from the birds, avoiding losses due to breakage or vice. These nests can be fitted on the inside of the shed, or with a little additional ingenuity, on the outside of the shed with bird access through the wall. These nests are dispatched as a flat pack nest, with all parts required for assembly, including nest bowls, rivets, nuts and bolts. and require a pop riveter and screwdriver for assembly. 	AstroTurf Nest Matts NOT USED IN THE SKA2-10 HOLE ROLLAWAY SERIES Specially developed mat for large rollaway nests. Astroturf is used in all the major brands of commercial nests, SKA, Jansen, Big Dutchman, Vencomatic, and many others. The design of the "prongs" on this mat allow the fowls to scratch around in natural nesting behaviour, cleaning the nest area and their feet in the process. The perforated base allows the small particles to fall away from the matt, keeping the nest clean. Available .91 metres wide. Rolls are 15 metre long. Also available by the metre.
